Opening hours etc
Hi – If you’re reading this, you’ve landed on this page by googling for ‘cheeky transport opening hours’ – First off, thanks for thinking of us, we’d really like to help you with your bike. Secondly, this was a blog post about our old old hours from 2006, but Google doesn’t know that.
Our current opening hours, circa 2012, are as follows. If you’d like to book a service, but need to drop off your bike outside of our opening hours, please call us on 02 9557 5424 and we can make arrangements for you.
Monday-Friday: 10am – 6.30pm
Thursday: 10am – 8pm
Saturday: 10am -4pm
Sunday: Closed
See you soon.
The idea is, that you can drop your bike in on the way to work or school 9(WE ARE VERY CLOSE TO THE WILSON ST BICYCLE SUPERHIGHWAY), and pick it up on the way home. We have loaner bikes to keep you on the road while your baby is being pampered, or there are lots of buses heading down king st to the city.
We are going to test out these hours for a while, and see if anyone actually uses them, and listen out for more feedback, and see what happens.
Sundays, we probably should be open, but there are so many cool rides, festivals, and other events on especially in the next few months, and we want to go to them and so should you. I have always thought of Sundays being a sacred day for family and/or cycling, but we’ll see how things go.
Please let us know if you have any feedback.
PS We are changing our name to Cheeky Transport , in line with our “bikes for transport yeah!” phlosophy and our web address will be www.cheekytransport.com.au very soon.
very cool I will have to drop by very shortly for a chat. And amongst all the events happening in the next 6 weeks the SS nationals are starting to take shape. Should have a flier together this week and really want to start pushing this one hard. It will be a heap of fun and is in a beautiful part of the countryside and always a fun weekend. cheers, Timmay
Very cool pick up and drop off philosophy! How you boys going in Sydney? Missing you all terribly. Show us all some photos of how the shop now looks!
Going to ‘City of London’ cycling event tomorrow night… the Met Police are talking… more cops are wanting to cycle on the beat than ever! Will keep you posted!

I’ve rolled past down King St a few times this week, but always been a bit too late or in a rush to stop. I’ll be in to check it out soon enough. You guys must be flat out.
Cheers
Andrew
