Touring specialists

We get very jealous of people coming in telling us all their awesome travelling plans. BUt it is pretty cool, nonetheless. Inspiring. Hmm. So anyway, we have heaps of cool touring stuff.

The best not too loaded up/budget touring bike the Fuji Touring is BACK BABY! $1350 . Tip from the top. Get in quick if you want one. There has been a huge amount of demand, and there aren’t many available. Lovely bike.

We just became Vaude dealers and I am particularly impressed by their Roadmaster bags $100 for front $130 for rear. NIce attatchment system, raincover, pockets. Good value. They also do some very similar to the ortliebs (which should be back in stock in a couple of weeks).

Looks suspiciously like your bike eh, but in brown.

Between the Fuji Tourer and the Surly Cross Check complete bike, which one would you guys recommend? For duribilty, reliabilty and overall greatness???

It really depends what you want to use it for. The Fuji is set up with triple chainrings and would make a great “light/weekend” tourer. The Crosscheck is set up like a cyclocross bike and would make a great multipurpose commuter/fun bike. It would need quite a few mods to go touring on.

HI. I got my Fuji from Cheeky earlier this year and LOVE it. Makes me want to ride further & further. On an earlier version of your website, before I bought the Fuji.. it mentioned the gearing being not quite there for a ‘fully loaded’ tour and I agree (great for around town or day trips though). The website mentioned how you recommended that be fixed .. Could you remind me.. was it change the 30/42/52 triple set.. or alter the 11-32T rear set??

    cheers
    Tim
