GOFA IT!

We got a new bike!
a GOFA!
it’s only $500 and comes with all the good stuff you see attached in the photo, except me, of course.
it’s a cool step-thru to suit most people in whatever clothes you feel like wearing. it’s 8 speed and comes with a child seat compatible rear rack, front basket, front and rear lights, a lock, kicstand, mudguards, and two enviro friendly shopping bags! green bags won’t save us, but blue ones just might.

i love the look of this. but where can I get some decent specs on it?
what size wheels? materials of frames, rims, spokes, post and handle bars? which shimano gears?
how do i know whether the quality is as good as a ‘regular’ hybrid/comfort bike of the same price?

Hi Commuterchick.
They’re a pretty standard aluminium alloy frame and rims, the wheels are 26″ and it’s an 8spd Alivio rear derailleur. It’s definitely very close in quality to any other $500 bicycle you’re likely to see, and more stylish, comfortable and well-accessorised to boot.
We’ve got a specification sheet in the shop, and we should have a few more Gofas on the floor in the next few weeks. Give us a call and have a chat..

Nicholas b, how do those umbrella stands work in Sydney-style rain with gale-force winds? Perhaps you could use the umbrella as a sail and surf your way through the streets? No pedaling! Whoo hoo!
