What an awesome weekend..

Thanks so much to Kate, Daniel, Damien, Andy, Luke, Phillip, Edmund, Steven, Adrian and Jennifer for coming along with Adam and I for a ride in the Southern Highlands. Our first try at a touring weekend was everything we hoped it would be.

No flat tyres, no mechanicals, only one or two minor confusions on the route, good food, good wine, good coffee, good people, beautiful sneaky camping, a dip in a swimming hole, rolling green countryside, forest and farmland, 80k’s an hour down Jamberoo pass, and a swim in the Kiama ocean baths on Sunday arvo.

    My first taste of cycle touring was a blast.
    Thanks to Nick, Adam & Jennifer for being such gracious hosts, and to all the other riders for your good company – enjoyed meeting you all.
    Love to do it again soon.
