Drink It Up #2 – Kleen Kanteen
June 22nd, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

The other new cool stainless steel drinkin’ related product we’ve now got available are Kleen Kanteen water bottles, as used and recommended byLaura and Russ at PathLessPedalled.
We’ve got lots of colours, sizes and accessories, including the Wine Karafe – very important for touring cyclists.
Kleen Kanteen make their own bottle cages to fit their bottles. They’re a snug secure fit, and their slotted mounting hole design makes ‘em easy to set up on small frames.
Small bottles (532ml) are $30 and Large (800ml) are $35.

I have some, they are cool.
Bought the bike cage, was going to get a coloured bottle, but their website recommends using the brushed SS plain bottle with the bidon cage as the coloured ones get scratched.

I’m lovin’ my new klean kanteen. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while. I got one with the sports cap and got an extra leak proof cap and the cage. I really like the cage too, coz it’s easy to get the bottle in and out, but it is very secure as I haven’t managed to make a full bottle fall out on its own, and believe me I’ve tried
I use the bottle off the bike quite a bit too, when going for a walk or for rehydration at work for instance. I like that there’s no resin lining etc, just pure ss.
