Vivente World Randonneurs nearly all gone..

We’ve been very impressed with 2011 version of the Vivente World Randonneur, and they’ve been flying off the floor, to the point they’re almost gone in some of the more popular sizes and handlebar setups. More bikes are on the way, but it’s looking like September before they get here. If you’re considering a Vivente for a spring tour, and want to get some time on the bike over winter, we’d encourage you to check one out now.
A VERY underrated frame and fork on these. Standard spec leaves a bit to be desired though.
The spec is bloody awesome if you ask us.
I like the fact that they are now offering a MTB gearing set up on the $1750 model. Tiagra road gearing on a tourer doesn’t seem right to me. Just to “tall”. Are the Vivente frames Rohloff compatible ? ?
Yeah exactly. There are so many “touring” bike out there with road triples. Fine until you have to carry anything up a hill. Credit card touring maybe… Any bikes are Rohloff compatible, but you will need a Rohloff chain tensioner, because of the vertical tips
I see a Rohloff Vivente World Randonneur in my future me thinks
