Sydney Brompton Owners Picnic – Sunday October 14 2012

Sydney’s Brompton Community is invited to join Cheeky Transport on Sunday October 14 to celebrate our favourite folding bike.
The plan is a for jaunty ride from Cheeky Transport in Newtown to Darling Harbour, a mass fold and then ferry ride to Cockatoo Island for an afternoon of picnicking in the finest English tradition. A folding competition, scavenger hunt, prizes for ‘Best In Show’ and other categories, and an afternoon of meeting fellow Bromptoneers.
Fancy dress is heartily encouraged – Oxbridge Blazers, Henley Regatta etc.
Some food will be provided, but self-catering is encouraged. Some food options are available on the island.

Great! I’ve been hearing about this event for some time now. It’ll be my first time participating in something like this and I’m nervous! Should I turn up on the day? Hmm, owning a Brompton is giving me way too much attention for an introvert like me, I don’t know if I should. Anyway, great pic!
