Please join us with your Brompton to buy some crazy bargains and then do a little ride and have a drink
Saturday 19th August 3pm
Calling all Cheeky Transport owners of Bombtrack x Surly x Killen x Crust x Bunyip bikes. We're going on a rally April 1. Not a practical joke.
Overnight camping tour on mosty sealed backroads, with hills, and some more challenging sidetracks. Not kid-friendly riding, but my kids will be camping with us, and they are awesome!
Saturday April 1 - 40km undulating
Check131500.com for trains.
Ride to Robertson for patisserie lunch, then to Carrington Falls for exploring, swimming, relaxing then barby dinner. Bring what you'd like to barby.
Sunday April 2 - 30k downhill then undulating. Then 45km mostly flat.
Leave at 9am and zoom down Jamberoo Pass to Kiama Blowhole. Then catch a bus/train home, or ride along the coastal bikepath via Port Kembla to Wollongong for a well earned beer. Train home. Swim and lunch en route.
Please email email@example.com and I will save you a campsite
There should be trains at either end, or at least buses if there's trackwork.
There may be some accomodation other than camping in the area. Get googling!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll save you a campsite.
It's a non-organised, non-insured, no-cost ride with a bunch of Cheeky Transporters in a really lovely area of the Southern Highlands.
It hopefully will be a little cool in the highlands for a campfire, and warm enough for a couple of swims. Don't bring too much stuff. It's only overnight!

Highlights include riding through the Royal National Park and then along the beautiful coast roads, including the sea cliff bridge, on the way down to Wollongong. From Thirroul south the ride is largely on the beach-side bicycle paths. Final stop is the beach at Kiama for a chance to swim by the world famous blow hole and grab some breakfast before jumping on the train back home.
No registration. No organisation. No rules. No official rest stops. Look after yourself, look out for others, have fun.
There will be a "no-drop" group which won't be leaving anyone behind.

- SAW Bike Tour 02-
- bicycle tour - Drifting along Sydney's formerly industrial western edge we will explore the stretch of land between Darling Harbour and Chippendale, the part of Sydney undergoing the most dramatic of changes. It is also the strip where the sharpest oppositions are playing out between memory and newness; economy and politics; inspiration and corruption opening up conversations big and small. The route and the conversation will be structured around a number of contemporary architectural and urban projects, contested sites and politically charged themes. These include recent headline projects by Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Durbach Block Jaggers and DCM. However, you will also discover transformative small 'a' architecture by some of Sydney's local heroes like William Smart, CHROFI, Tonkin Zulaikha Greer, Aspect, FJMT, Silvester Fuller and others. This tour is an exploration of these gritty, rapidly changing and completely mixed up inner-city suburbs, weaving a very different narrative through Sydney.
