Our dream … every time you go for a ride around town , you meet a friend on a bike.
Cheeky Monkey Cycle Company opened up Christmas 1999 to service the needs of urban and transport cyclists.
Our old shop was at 456 Pitt St in town, but in September 2006 we changed our name to Cheeky Transport and moved to Newtown. We’re proud to support and be a part of Sydney’s inner west cycling community.
Our shop focus is on quality repairs, durable parts and functional accessories for urban and transport cycling.
We like touring bikes, hybrids, flatbar roadies, Amsterdam bikes, cargobikes, Brompton folding bikes, fixies, 3 speeds, vintage and kid carriers
We reckon that there aren’t many bike shops that support transport cyclists. We think that bikes are the best way to get around and would like to encourage more people to use bikes for trips to the movies, shopping, work or whatever. The more people there are riding, the more presssure there will be for cycling infrastructure and the better it will be for all mankind!
