Cycling in the Inner West is bloody awesome. There are plenty of safe and scenic backways to get you to work, or uni or school, or to a mates place, romantic picnic location market, WHATEVER! Not only is it often the quickest way to get there, it’s easy, cheap, feels good, gets you fit, and it makes each little outing an adventure!

Any bike can do short distance, getting around type rides. As long as it’s safe. Get us to service your baby!

Carrying stuff
Any kind of bike that you want to ride for transport becomes vastly more useful when it’s got the ability to carry stuff – groceries, a change of clothes, a laptop computer. Mickie totes around his powertools in the Ortlieb Back Roller Classics he bought from us – broke a few axles in the process though.

Locks, Lights, Mudguards and the rest..
If you’re using your bike for transport, it’s important to take care of its security – lots of our customers take their bikes inside their offices with them, and that’s great. If you can’t do that, a good lock is a necessity. “Secure Car-park” is a total misnomer. Heaps of bikes get pinched from poorly supervised bike parking in secure car-parks.
Buy a solid quality D-lock, do something to secure your wheels, and be smart about where you leave your bike and for how long, and you won’t need to worry about it being stolen.
