Maintenance Courses
We run scheduled maintenance classes every three months. Our courses are small, hands-on, so you can really learn how to do things (and remember them). We focus the course on the needs and bikes of the attendees.
We can also show you how to build your own bike. One-on-one instruction, using our tools, is $80 an hour. This can be useful if you’re planning a big trip on a complicated new bike – we helped a couple familiarise themselves with the intricacies of their new separable tandem before a big tour. Our regular classes won’t tell you how to use every tool in the Park Master Mechanic Kit, but we can do the following..
Wednesday May 12. Gears – Change a cable and adjust rear gears. Barrel adjusters.
Wednesday May 19. Brakes - Change a cable and fit/adjust pads. Barrel adjusters.
6:30pm-8:00pm class of 4 . $50 per course. Full payment required up front for a booking.
We try and have a strict no refunds, no cancellations policy for these sessions.
BYO your own bike, a notepad and clothes that you can get dirty in.
