Maintenance Courses
We run scheduled maintenance classes every few months. Our courses are small, hands-on, so you can really learn how to do things (and remember them). We focus the course on the needs and bikes of the attendees.
We can also show you how to build your own bike. One-on-one instruction, using our tools, is $80 an hour. This can be useful if you’re planning a big trip on a complicated new bike – we helped a couple familiarise themselves with the intricacies of their new separable tandem before a big tour. Call us to make a booking.

Our regular classes won’t tell you how to use every tool in the Park Master Mechanic Kit, but we can do the following..
Beginners – Wheel Removal, Patch a tube, Basic Safety Check $60 per person
Gears – Check Hanger alignment, Change a cable and adjust rear gears, barrel adjuster familiarisation.$70 per person
Brakes - Change a cable and fit/adjust brake pads, barrel adjuster familiarisation.$70 per person
