We love baskets for a lot of reasons. They look great, they’re super convenient, they’re flexible and they add more than just a dash of style to any bike.
Brands We Stock

Basil are a Dutch brand who produce fashionable bags and baskets made for city and hybrid bicycles. They work well for round town and look fantastic. We keep a selection of colours and styles in stock. Below are Basimply II in wicker ($145) and mesh ($105) and the Blossom ($75). You can browse the full range online here.
Basil use very secure, easily adjustable mounting systems and their wicker baskets have a steel core inside that adds substantial strength and rigidity.

As well as making cool bikes Electra also make a range of baskets and other accessories, including Nick’s favouritest basket in the whole world, pictured below. It’s $65. It attaches permanently to the bike at the headset and has struts supported by the front axle, it’s made from strong steel mesh and it’s big, which all adds up to carrying lots of stuff, which is super cool.
Unfortunately its design restricts it to older and cheaper bikes with threaded headsets and no front suspension, but it’s still an immensely good value, practical product.

Topeak make one of our favourite racks, the great value and strong Super Tourist, and a great rear basket that uses the slide on/slide off MTX system. Their front basket clicks on and off the bike easilty.

We also stock a range of generic wicker and wire baskets for the front and rear of the bike, for between $30 and $50.
