We think that Schwalbe make some of the best city and touring tyres available. They’re the brand of tyre we stock almost exclusively. Over the years they’ve proved to be durable, well made, great to ride and offer great puncture resistance. We keep the following models in stock in standard sizes, including tyres for Dahon, Birdy and Brompton folding bikes. We’re always happy to special order.

Marathon Plus ($80ea – Centre) – Punctures become obsolete with the MARATHON PLUS! The SmartGuard layer made from a flexible, special rubber offers particular resistance to shards of glass and flints. Even a thumbtack cannot penetrate this protective layer. The SmartGuard belt does not increase rolling resistance. The MARATHON PLUS rolls as easily as a tire without protection.
Marathon XR ($110ea Right) - The ultimate expedition tire! An extremely versatile tread with a incomparably friction resistant rubber compound. The TravelGuard protection belt offers excellent puncture protection at an extremely low weight. A special chafer around the bead prevents the tire scrubbing out on the rim under extreme loads. Made as a folding tire to pack easily in luggage.
Kojak (Left) – Who loves ya, baby? Kojak makes no compromises. Its home is the road. Although the fast, sporty, tread-less slick weighs just 295 gram, it still has a RaceGuard protection belt.
Blizzard (Centre) – The proven classic. The modern tread is available in all popular colors and incorporates a Kevlar-MB-Belt for a safer ride.
Durano (Right) – For mile eaters. Durano is the right choice for high mileage purposes, because no other racing tire lasts longer. At the same time the Dual Compound offers great grip for training on wet winter roads.

Big Apple (Right) - Suspension included. The Big Apple began the Balloonbike trend back in 2001. Comfortable cycling without the need for expensive technology.
